NEW DOCTOR WHO!

The NEW Doctor, Matt Smith, and his new companion, Amy Pond (Karen Gillan)

 I don't know if the RPG-ness of the above post gave it away, but if you couldn't tell - I'm a massive geek... so naturally I love Doctor Who.

Anyways, just saw the first episode of the 5th season of the new Doctor Who. I am suitably impressed. Very intense. VERY intense. I still miss the Tenth Doctor terribly, but there's a madcap zany-ness, pace and optimism in the new Doctor that you can't help but love. New TARDIS too! Wowzer!!

Plus Steven Moffat has the reins, so I'm expecting the new episodes to be equal parts delightful AND terrifying (he is the master of scary episodes that Mssr. Moffat... the first episode was pretty scary). Or delightfully terrifying, or terrifyingly delightful.

Either way we're in safe hands!
