Long time no blogjams. Since it is exam time and I have an assignment due at 10pm tonight (which I have barely started)
And I've recently become a bit obsessed with Fender bass guitars (especially Japanese made Fenders from here)
Fender Bass guitars, in my view, are quite special. Almost all the music I love, and almost all of my favourite electric basslines whether they be from James Jamerson during his Motown tenure, Pino Palladino, Duck Dunn from Booker T and the M.G's, John Entwhistle from the Who, The Bamboos, Ali Shaheed Muhammad... they all use the Fender Bass.
It's the quintessential electric bass - there's a really organic, classic vibe to it; a design that has been unaltered since Leo Fender crafted his first electric bass in the 1950's.
